There is the option to add an additional insulation layer to the inside of the structure that provides an airgap that can be filled with wool (treated with a non-toxic fire retardant) so that the lamda value (insulation value) of this passive structure is a A++++ rating.
below are some images that show before and after the insulation is added. You can see the insulation layer adds a smooth interior finish and also allows for wiring and pipes to be fitted invisibly in the airspace between the outer and inner layers of the zome.
(n.B: Wires can also be fed allong the space between the panels of the zome if you only want the single layer version of the structure).
